Prenatal Duo Pregnancy Support 30 Tablets + 60 Capsules

Prenatal Duo is a formula containing choline, DHA and a complex of essential ingredients selected for their beneficial effects on the mother and child in appropriately high doses recommended by PTG.

Prenatal DUO is a unique preparation recommended for women from the second trimester of pregnancy to the end of breastfeeding.

Prenatal Duo is indicated for dietary management in women from the 13th week of pregnancy until the end of the breastfeeding period in order to:

ensuring the proper development of the child's brain and retina
supporting the proper development of the fetus
reducing the risk of developing allergies in your child
prevention of anemia and premature birth
It is best to take 1 tablet of Prenatal Classic and 2 capsules of Prenatal DHA daily with a meal. In case of increased demand, the method of use should be consulted with a doctor. A balanced diet and proper lifestyle are important for the functioning of a woman's body. The beneficial effects of the ingredients of the preparation mentioned in the health claims result from the appropriate amount of active ingredients used in accordance with the method of use.

• Choline - This is a very important ingredient for the development of the fetal nervous system, including the brain. As the study results show, choline supplementation during pregnancy has a positive effect on brain functioning, cognitive functions and stress resistance*. Supports the proper functioning of the mother's liver and placenta.
• Lactoferrin - The results of the study using Prenatal DUO confirm the effectiveness and safety of iron supplementation with lactoferrin in women from the second trimester of pregnancy, as evidenced by the maintenance of normal hematological parameters and optimal ferritin concentration. This is particularly important for the proper course of pregnancy and its appropriate duration, as well as the well-being of the mother and child.
• Lactoferrin also affects the functioning of the immune system. It has been proven to have immunoregulatory abilities: it inhibits or stimulates immune mechanisms and contributes to the innate immune system, which is the first line of defense against pathogens. Moreover, scientific reports indicate that lactoferrin affects the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines and may contribute to maintaining the correct date of delivery.
• DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) - belongs to the essential polyunsaturated fatty acids omega-3. DHA should be supplied with the diet in ready-made form because our body synthesizes it in limited quantities. The use of DHA in the second and third trimester of pregnancy is particularly important for the development of the child's brain and retina. The results of scientific research indicate that DHA influences the development of the immune system, also in terms of appropriate response to allergens in the future. During breastfeeding, the use of DHA may be particularly important due to the further development of the child's brain.
• Folates (FolActiv®: pteroylmonoglutamic acid and calcium L-methylfolate) - A combination of folic acid and its active form - FolActiv® supports better absorption of folic acid in women with slower metabolism. This combination is recommended by the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians for supplementation before and during pregnancy as a prevention of neural tube defects*. Folic acid is an essential ingredient responsible for the proper course of cell division and the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. Folates, by contributing to the maintenance of proper homocysteine metabolism, influence the development of the nervous system*.
• Vitamin B6 and Methyl B12 - They have a beneficial effect on the bioavailability of folic acid. FolActiv® + MetylB12 + vitamin B6 = maximum use of the effects of folates. Vitamin B6 and MethylB12 together with folic acid contained in FolActiv® and choline support the proper metabolism of homocysteine. The correct concentration of this compound in the mother's blood has a beneficial effect on the development of the child's nervous system and the course of pregnancy. Methylcobalamin is a biologically active form, ready for use by the body.
• Iodine and selenium - Iodine is an essential ingredient for the production of hormones and the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Its combination with selenium supports the thyroid even better. The appropriate amount of these ingredients in a pregnant woman's diet allows for the proper development of the child's nervous system and cognitive functions, which may be responsible for the child's intelligence in the future.
• Vitamin D3 - Helps maintain healthy bones and teeth of the child, and also supports the proper functioning of the immune system of the future mother. Prenatal DUO contains the recommended daily dose of vitamin D3 - 2000 IU. for a pregnant woman.
• Iron - The combination of iron with folic acid contained in FolActiv® and vitamins B6 and B12 actively supports blood formation processes. Iron contributes to increasing hemoglobin levels during pregnancy and the proper mental development of the child. Prenatal DUO contains microencapsulated iron, which affects its bioavailability and protection for the stomach.

How to use:

It is best to take 1 capsule of Prenatal Classic and 2 capsules of Prenatal DHA daily with a meal.
