Privacy and Cookies Policy of the Online Shop taniekosmetyki.co.uk
1. Data controller and definitions

User – a natural person entering the Online Shop’s website or using the services or functionalities described in this Policy.
Customer – a natural person with full legal capacity, a Consumer, a legal person or an organisational unit without legal personality who concludes a Distance Selling Agreement with the Seller.
Online Shop – the website operated by the Seller, available at https://taniekosmetyki.co.uk.
Newsletter – information, including marketing information, sent electronically by the Seller to the Customer/User; subscription is voluntary and requires consent.
Account – a set of data stored in the Online Shop’s system concerning the Customer/User and orders placed by the Customer/User, enabling purchases and contract conclusion.
UK GDPR – the General Data Protection Regulation as retained in UK law under the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Purposes, legal basis and period of the processing
In order to perform the Distance Selling Agreement, the Seller processes:
- information concerning the User's device (IP address, cookies, session data, browser data, device data, website activity),
- geolocation data (if consent has been given),
- personal data: name, surname, company details, correspondence address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank account details and other data necessary for processing purchases.
Data is processed on the following legal bases:
- Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR – performance of a contract,
- Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR – consent (e.g. for cookies, marketing, geolocation),
- Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR – legitimate interests of the Seller (e.g. ensuring IT security, fraud prevention, direct marketing).
Data is stored for as long as necessary to perform the contract or until consent is withdrawn (for processing based on consent).
3. Marketing activities
The Seller may display marketing content related to its products or services on the Online Shop’s website. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Seller (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Such activity does not infringe the rights and freedoms of Users.
4. Recipients of User’s data
The data controller discloses Users’ personal data only to processors engaged under data processing agreements, e.g. providers of hosting, IT, payment, marketing or courier services.
5. Transfer of personal data to third countries
Data may be transferred outside the UK/EEA only where necessary (e.g. to providers such as Google, Meta, PayPal). In such cases, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with UK GDPR.

- Portability – to receive data in a structured, machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller (Article 20).
- Objection – to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling (Article 21).
- Withdrawal of consent – at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

This Privacy and Cookies Policy may be updated or supplemented to reflect changes in law or the Seller’s processing practices.

12. Account
Registration of an Account requires providing data (name, surname, e-mail, address, password). The Customer/User guarantees that the data provided is true. The Account may be deleted at any time upon request. The Seller may suspend or terminate an Account in case of law infringement, breach of the Terms and Conditions or prolonged inactivity.
