Nigella CCD is a combination of black cumin seed oil, garlic oil macerate standardized to contain alliin and vitamin D3.
- Nigella oil is made from the seeds of the black cumin plant, known as Egyptian black cumin. It is characterized by a high content of unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fats, which include omega-6 acids. A fatty acid from the omega-6 family is linoleic acid (LA), which helps maintain proper cholesterol levels in the blood. The beneficial effect occurs when consuming 10 g of LA per day. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels (mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids are unsaturated fats).
