Alugastrin 340mg Protects the Esophagus and Stomach 20 Tablets
- Tablets for crushing and chewing are used symptomatically in hyperacidity of gastric juice, damage to the gastric and duodenal mucosa, and gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Alugastrin is a drug that neutralizes excess hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, but does not stimulate its secondary secretion. Alugastrin chewable tablets are used in hyperacidity, gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in damaged duodenal or gastric mucosa. The medicinal product is intended for short-term use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Alugastrin neutralizes excess hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, but does not excessively alkalize it and secondary HCl secretion does not occur. The drug has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. It relieves pain associated with hyperacidity of gastric juice.
How to use:
Adults and children over 6 years of age: chew or crush 1-2 tablets an hour after meals and before going to bed or when symptoms occur.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation, severe renal failure. Use with caution in patients prone to constipation. Pregnancy and lactation - consult a doctor before using the drug.
If after 14 days in adults or after 7 days in children there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, consult a doctor.
Ingredients:
The active substance of the drug is: dihydroxyaluminium sodium carbonate (Dihydroxyaluminii natrii carbonas).
1 chewable tablet contains 340 mg of dihydroxyaluminium sodium carbonate.
Excipients: mannitol, potato starch, sodium carmellose, magnesium stearate, mint flavor and aroma enhancer, sodium saccharin.
