Some bone cells (osteoclasts) decompose bone tissue, releasing calcium, and others (osteoblasts) create new bone tissue by incorporating, among others, calcium to the bones. It is important to maintain a balance between these two processes, but with age, the process of bone tissue decomposition intensifies. Ensuring the balance of bone metabolism is possible by supplementing the diet with appropriate ingredients.
Vitamin K helps maintain healthy bones because it participates in the process of incorporating calcium into bone tissue. The K2-Vitum forte 200 μg preparation contains vitamin K2 - menaquinone-7 (MK-7). This is important because this chemical form of vitamin K is involved in bone metabolism. The human body is unable to synthesize vitamin K2 on its own, therefore the demand for this vitamin is met mainly by the diet and, to a lesser extent, by synthesis carried out by intestinal bacteria.
The product contains linseed oil with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha-linolenic acid helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when consuming 2 g of ALA per day.
Recommended intake:
Adults – 1 capsule daily with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Maintaining good health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

200 μg of vitamin K2 MK-7 (266% of the reference intake value) and 450 mg of linseed oil, including 225 mg of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3).
