Active ingredients:

• Kojic acid, a substance of natural origin, obtained, among others, from fungi and the rice fermentation process. It is mainly known as an effective skin lightening agent. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce the visibility of discolorations, pigmentation spots and acne scars. It works by inhibiting tyrosinase - an enzyme responsible for the production of melanin, which allows for the evening out of the skin tone. It also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
• Arbutin, a plant glycoside present in, among others, bearberry, pear and cranberry. It acts as a tyrosinase inhibitor, which means that it is used in cosmetics that lighten and reduce discoloration. Effectively brightens the skin without irritating it.
