Collaflex Sport contains two types of collagen:
- Type I collagen, which is the main component of tendons and ligaments.
- Type II collagen, which is the basic type of collagen in the intercellular matrix of cartilage. The preparation contains it in a hydrolyzed, low-molecular form, characterized by high absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Type II collagen is supplied with the Collatrin® ingredient, which also contains other ingredients found in articular cartilage: chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid.
Collaflex Sport also contains vitamin C and manganese. Vitamin C helps in the proper production of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of cartilage and bones and helps in the proper functioning of the immune system. Additionally, vitamin C contributes to reducing the feeling of fatigue and weariness and maintaining proper energy metabolism.
